It was Istanbul where we were so lucky to see our daughter Holly after being 3 months on the road. Obviously a beautiful place to see each other again. We rented an apartment in a neighborhood close to most places we wanted to see so from here we walked and talked, had delicious meals and saw interesting places and people. Istanbul is big and busy, historic and colorful and there is so much to see that it becomes overwhelming. We had decided to have a rest as well here but that’s merely impossible in Istanbul. As soon as you step outside you have to deal with a staggering amount of people, traffic, shops, café’s, restaurants ect. so we decided to just go with the flow. We had a wondelful time!
