DAY 61-67 ROMANIA
Deeper we go into Transylvania. The countryside is more mounteness and pretty. Wooden houses in striking colors with large gardens where you see dogs, cats, chicken, sometimes goats, sheep or pigs. Often there is a veggie garden too. The older women wear headscarfs and hats like the men do. And then the horse and carts gives Transylvania its authentic face. People are friendly and open, ready for a talk. There is a positive vibe in the air. Everybody seems to be busy with their work, renovating houses or roads or are working in the fields. Romania had the highest economic growth in the EU in 2017 and is still going strong. Let us hope it will not lose its authentic identity.
Prachtige foto’s! Wat een avontuur. Het is heerlijk mee te kijken
