DAY 47 Cycling through the areas between countries is often boring (which makes me think of “No Man’s Land” a Bosnian film from 2001 which everybody should see). The country between Slowakia and Hungary which we cycled is different in that aspect because the border here is the Danube.
Along the Hungarian border we passed the city of Esztergom which was Hungary’s capital from the 10th to the 13th century. Its cathedral is the largest in Hungary and the archbishop is seated here.
