DAY 39-45 VIENNA-BRATISLAVA

The last 2 days we spend at the “City” camping in Vienna. It were not the best 2 days we had so far. It was busy, not clean and noisy and on top of that Michele became ill. Fortunately Bratislava was only 25km but by the time we arrived Michele was to sick to clime the steep 20% hill where we had booked our apartment. I called Reception and one of the managers came to collect us immediately. The apartment was just great with a view over communist buildings on the other side of the Danube. Our pension had about 7 apartments which were all different and there was a kitchen with self-service and a communal living room where people could eat, watch television or sit on the balcony or in the garden. After 3 days Michele was recovered so we took a “Free Tour” to have a look around Bratislava. Our Tour Guide was a lovely young woman who painted a clear picture of the history of this lovely city. Bratislava  has a small centre with a nice atmosphere and beautiful buildings in art-deco style.
