DAY 004 Dieren

Day 004 Near Dieren we slept at camping ’tHofke, run by two friendly women who turned an old farmhouse into their home and started a camping.

Nearby is the town Doesburg where you will find the oldest café in The Netherlands, Stadsbierhuys De Waag from 1478!

Traveling overland from The Netherlands to New Zealand Michele and I, Ruud, met in the Himalayan mountains of Nepal in 1986. She was on her way from Australia to England. One year later we met again in Amsterdam, 2 years later we married and now, 33 years later, we were traveling on our bicycles in India after we left The Netherlands 7 months ago but due to the Covid-19 virus we had to return home. The third of August we left again for the south of France cycling along the Atlantic coast.
