AGONDA BEACH – CHAUDI
Wow! Such a relaxed place, Agonda. Set beautifully between two headlands you will find its dreamy, palmtree fringed beach. Parallel to it there’s Agonda Road with its cosy resorts, guesthouses, shops and restaurants. We liked it instantly and decided to stay here and have a rest. From our guesthouse it is only a fifty meter walk to the beach where we do our early morning swim. The sea is warm and the beach is quiet. The restaurants serve tasty muesli’s or sweet pancakes for breakfast and naturally a great variety of curries for diner. Also there is an interesting mix of characters from every corner of the world. After four peaceful days we picked ourself up and went to the post office in Chaudi to send our tent and some other items home and paid a visit to it’s vibrant local market.
Cows, they are just there…
We met Gareth from South Africa on his rented Royal Enfield with whom we did some motorbike trips.
