Al Hamra – Muscat

We left Al Hamra with a discrepant feeling. We really liked the adventurous days in the mountains but we now had to go to the capital Muscat. This time to obtain our Indian visas and get a flight to Goa. So off we went to get there.

We only camped when cycling to Muscat. It’s so nice to cook your own meal and sleep quietly in the nature. We stopped in Wadi Tanuf and the next day in Wadi Quari. We did explore them a little bit but were lightly Wadied out so cycled on. Michele and I love traveling on a bike like we do. Every day is an adventure. You never know what to expect, how far you will cycle, who you meet, where or what you eat or what you see that day. We kind of plan our trip but not to much. That gives us the freedom to change our route.
